People have long been asking for notes inserts they can tuck inside their planners, and I’m pleased to announce: they’re available! Each insertable booklet contains 16 blank, white pages, and fits into our Minister, Academic Minister, Space 24 and Scholar formats. Here’s what the cover looks like:

The suggested retail price is $2, and if there’s enough demand, we’ll roll them out to other formats and sizes.

In the meantime, we have a few samples to give away, so if you’re interested, comment on this post before Friday at 12:00 pm EST and we’ll pick the winners at random.

Some notes with that planner?

A reader from Michigan wrote in with a good suggestion for improving the next generation of planners:

Very simply, add more “Notes” pages … each planner, regardless of size, should have at least 10 pages … There is a lot of information that I want in my planner but it is not tied to a specific day, week or month and is best kept in one consolidated place in the Notes pages.

What do you think? Do you want more space for notes at the front or back of your planner? Or a separate supplement with blank pages you could tuck in the cover each year?

Planning à la carte

We offer address book refills for several of our planners. Recently, a couple of readers requested a similar format for notes. (“I may not always need an address book, but a pull-in, pull-out note section would be invaluable,” wrote a reader from D.C.)

It sounds like a good idea to me, but I’m curious to hear what others think. Would you be willing to pay a couple dollars extra for a detachable notes supplement? Or, in order to keep your favorite planner the same price, would you swap the address book for it? Are there any other supplements you’d like to see instead, or in addition?
