The last time I thought about enumerated lists was a few years ago, when I was surprised to discover that author William S. Burroughs numbered his grocery lists. Flickr co-founder Caterina Fake does, too — at least, she numbers her to-do lists, as she mentioned in a recent interview with Lifehacker.
A 5,000-item long to-do list sounds downright masochistic, but the data geek in me understands the will to quantify. Still, I prefer to prioritize rather than enumerate. What about you?
