Because of my own personality and a fair bit of wishful thinking, I was convinced that my son would make his appearance exactly on his due date. In the event, we had to wait a few days, which was probably good practice: baby’s on his own schedule. Better get used to it.
Nonetheless, I’m getting back in the swing of things and ready to pick up with some blogging. That parenting is inherently creative is perhaps an obvious point; nonetheless, having a baby has already taught me a fair amount about planning, problem solving, and adjusting on the fly. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
