With the 4th of July coming up tomorrow, we’re back and forth with what to barbecue….hamburgers, steak, chicken, vegetables, Italian sausage, and on and on.  When  I was growing up the staple at any 4th of July picnic were hot dogs.  Kids couldn’t get enough of them.  The best hot dogs I had growing up after picnics were at the A&W.  They also made the best root beer in frosted glasses. The best hot dog I’ve had as an adult is in Chicago (sorry, Nathans!).
