In another bit of local news, I just found out that the lovely Cheyenne Diner, which Karen wrote about earlier this month, is going to move to Red Hook, where I live! It’s great to see that such a cool, iconic structure is going to stay in the city (other historic NYC diners have wound up in places as far away as the Catskills and even Wyoming), and I’m sure the neighborhood will welcome it.
